2. The Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community

If downtown Gatlinburg isn’t enough to satisfy your shopping needs, head to the Great Smoky Arts & Crafts 8-mile loop, where you’ll find everything from homemade candles and soaps to pottery, jewelry, quilts, wood carvings, and so much more. There are also many local eateries and cafes to stop by along the loop road, such as Morning Mist Cafe, Split Rail Eats, Glades Soda Fountain, and the Fox and Parrot Tavern. 

3. The Gatlinburg Trail

The Gatlinburg Trail is one of the best walking and biking trails because the trailhead is located right in downtown! The wide, accessible trail is nearly 2.5 miles long and takes you to Sugarlands Visitor Center within the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. You can choose to walk out and back or continue exploring one of the other trails that begin at the visitor center, such as Cataract Falls. Another great thing about the Gatlinburg Trail is that it’s dog-friendly! 

4. Speedwerkz Exotic Car Experience 

Couples and families of all ages will love experiencing the incredible displays of exotic and rare cars at Speedwerkz! Our high-tech displays are interactive, and you can even sit in one of the cars and have your photo taken inside! We also offer racing simulators that feel so real that you’ll really be able to experience what it would be like to drive one of these beautiful cars. Not only is Ole Red one of the best places to eat in Gatlinburg but also a fantastic spot for live music and entertainment!
